So. I saw that you guys talked to Turquoise the last day. I figured it'd be a good idea to have a word with you.

Neji did, I'm afraid. I prefer not to involve myself . . .

There's bad blood between me and them. So, Ruby admitted that they lied to you?
dormancy: (fragile art of a good excuse.)

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
We like to be informed . . . Did they tell you who they were working with when they came up with that strategy?
dormancy: (lethargy.)

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Did Ruby say who placed the second vote so early on with them?
dormancy: (what wicked webs we weave.)

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Mm, before or after the ousting?

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
I see . . . And, yes, we've seen what happens to those who act where everyone can see.

Well then, was there anything else you wished to speak about?
dormancy: (class and manners.)

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
The current clue?

Kunzite plays a good game, so we wanted them to go up instead of Ruby which is more easily read. Hence, we tried to focus our suspicion vote to that.

However, they likely are innocent by virtue of having some sense. Ruby was being played by Turquoise either as sheep or wolves, meanwhile Helidor was acting out of character. So, the chance that we got the wolf is about fifty-fifty for the moment.

As for the current clue, we suspected Turquoise and Carnelian, so we now have to sort out the mess that Turquoise has illogically made while seeing what Carnelian has to say for itself. The wolves thought to get rid of Tiger's Eye which says something to their intelligence, though not very much . . .

And you? For both clues.

Ah, and Turquoise and Helidor had some unusual conversations in public that looked like quite like a feint. So, either both sides were hoping to cover suspicion, or there is another thread to untangle.

I did, yes.
playfreebird: (stand beside)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
We realized they were lying. And fairly dramatically.
playfreebird: (let's not)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Between Ruby's admission and their own inconsistencies, it was fairly obvious.

Vincent was talking to them initially, and suspected that it was Turquoise working with them.

Otherwise, Sakura had already told me before hand that Turquoise would not vote for Ruby because of the connections between the two teams. By the time Turquoise claimed to be a "later" vote on Ruby, there seemed to be three different versions of events.

No, it wasn't. One way or the other, it was very sloppy.
playfreebird: (so many things I can say)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
I hadn't seen that until you pointed it out.

That is difficult to say. I can't see any reason to put a vote on Sapphire at this stage. It could very well be sloppiness... I would expect not to see that kind of behavior after the last round.
playfreebird: (not really)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
Turquoise? Or Sapphire?
playfreebird: (let's not)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 04:45 am (UTC)(link)
It would make sense if it were. I notice Van has been asking questions about self-sacrifice. If it were Sapphire, it could be a refusal to participate or an attempt to look unsuspicious... those if it's the latter, it's very sloppy given the situation.
playfreebird: (speaking to you tires me)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Too many people in this game are getting overdramatic with it.
playfreebird: (Default)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
It is. And it's distracting people from actually focusing on the game.
playfreebird: (so many things I can say)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
They could have...

Do you think Sapphire are wolves?
playfreebird: (not really)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
If they are wolves, this is very foolish unless we were right about Heliodor.
playfreebird: (speaking to you tires me)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
I may in the future. For now I don't see much to gain from it.
dormancy: (cool story bro.)

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Mm, Neji, your memory is going faulty. We suspected that Turquoise was a wolf team, and I asked on a lark hoping that they would not be playing into the hands of the only untrustworthy team.
playfreebird: (so many things I can say)

[personal profile] playfreebird 2012-08-26 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
Their behavior did seem unusual, yes.
dormancy: (tee hee. tee hee.)

[personal profile] dormancy 2012-08-26 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
I'm clever, but not nearly as clever as you give me credit for. Really, I'm touched, though.
